March 15 and 16

March 15
I was at the Kaikan from morning till afternoon rehearsing the song and dance. Its a really hot day, but its was fun. Went for a talk that is meant for Oversea Singaporean by Mr Lucus Chow, CEO of MediaCorp. The talk is pretty interesting about their biz and future, but our stomach is grumping half way thro the talk. There's a buffet dinner after the talk, but its nothing like the buffet dinner we have back home. Its served by the waiters and its all finger food, but CK and I managed to display our national traits (Kaisu-ism) by taking a bunch of spring roll, chicken puff and etc whenever the waiters walked past. Its a pretty fun dinner as we met many Singaporeans students as well.

March 16
Today my region will be performing a musical skit to celebrate Kosen-Rufu Day. The entire meeting was a great experience for me, as there are alot of testimonials being shared, about how their life transformation. This brave and courages ppl really inspired me to strive in my life, work hard to create value in my life. I'll post the pics and the video when my friend Ley Hian (same age as me, abt the same time we are in Mel but he is doing PHD, woooow. . .), has send them to me.

During the makan session after the meeting, another friend did something really fun. Trying to learn how to whistle. its really funny.

After lunch, Its about 3pm. I headed to another member's house (Rukmini) @ St. Kinda Rd. Her apartment is just opposite Albert Park. Therefore we have a very good view of F1 race without having to pay. As I have initially wanted to buy a $99 tix to experience it, and $99 is not even at the grand stand. It was a good experience for me but the day is pretty hot and when I'm on the tram back to the city, its super pack. Lucky I was able to get a seat for the 20mins ride. Here are some more photos.

Albert Park, the race track (its actually a street closed for F1)

The warm-up lap of F1.

Cool rite. . .
