Yesterday's lecture were pretty boring... Went to a chanting session (Daimokukai) of another group in Yarra Yarra Region. This group is named Mirai Kozaru, which simply means naughty monkey. This is becos of a pioneer who came across a Chinese folk talk, "Journey to the West". This monkey eventually attained Buddhahood. This group is quite a hippy group as they went for drinks at a pud after the meeting. As I didn't have dinner, I went ahead to have dinner and promise to join them. I was 2 streets and walked into a Chinese eatery and I met my cousin (Eliza) and her boyfriend. Its good to see them around, they were very kind to wait for me to finish and showed me around. They brought me to a shop that sells all kind of Asian food and products. They even got me a box of chocolate pie, although its not expensive but their thoughts really touch me. I went to join the group but when I reach, they are about to leave. But there's a part 2, they went for supper. I joined them for tea.
As I was heading home, I really wanted to talk to someone about my trip. Becos I was seriously thinking whether should I spent 1.5K to go Cairns (Great Barrier Reef)? Wanted to call my mum but she is the mist of a leaders meeting and could not talk to me, but arranged to call the next morning. But managed to talk the Sherry, Tong, Ethan and Kaylee. I even did a video conference with them.
Today, I woke up pretty late. Rushed to print notes and headed off for lecture, I made it in time even I spent a while looking for the theater. But "Managing Operations" was pretty boring. Met CK, Sylvia and Fen for lunch. As usual, the union house is packed. There's only 1 place to eat in the entire campus, can't they set up more food courts?
After lunch was "Product and Brand Management", its extremely interesting and it is becoming my interest. Jeremy is very approachable and I did talk to him after the lecture to clarify my understanding. As Shu Yun suggest that going to Ikea tomorrow would be a better idea, I headed home. Did my share of housework, I've vacuum the floor of all the common area, wash my clothes and tidy up my stuff. Also check for air tix to cairns. In the mist of the activity, my mum called. We chat for awhile, and she is totally against me of going to Cairns alone. We also work out on her trip during Jul.
I went to another group's chanting session (Fortune Mill), this is group is pretty serious. Think its becos there many any youth, its a small group and there are new members. But the sharing session is pretty interesting.
Once I step into the house, Natalie (flatmate) told me that the living lights is spoilt. I put down my bag in the room and went to fix the light. As I was reading my emails, Thomas called me. He is back. . . He is the guy that introduced Mike to me. (So I owe him a big favour. . . ) Chat a little before I sit down and start to write. . .
Its 1.35 now, its time for bed, else I'll not be able to wake up tomorrow AGAIN. . .
