Yesterday, cos aft 12 le, I finally receive an email from Jardine informing "Thank you for ur interest.....". Oh well, it just wasn't meant to be. The rejection is very polite and subtle.
Really busy in trying to cope with my projs, I am such a fine example of student syndrome. Still quite far from completion and I just got to work harder.
Being nicknamed as street directory yesterday. =(
I thought it doesn't sound nice, but never mind, I shall be a friendly street directory then. haha...
Since I couldn't get any internship, I've just applied for the position of a bodyguard and await being called up for interview. *fingers crossed, being KS, toes crossed too*
Everything will somehow fall in place, just focus on the stones.

Stones, pebbles and sand.
Think everyone should have heard about this story.
http://www.storiesofwisdom.com/time-management-stones-pebbles-sand/
Anyway, my point is that focus on the big items in life first, the rest of the smaller items will then fall in place. If we just focus on small items (sand), it may filled up the jar and will not be able to fill the stones and pebbles (bigger things in life).
I realized that I am a shallow and narrow person as I was focusing with these small items in my life; neglecting the bigger ones. By focusing on the bigger items in life, helps me to built my character and expand my capacity. With a greater capacity, that would mean that the smaller items are easily attainable.
However, as I was too caught up in chasing the smaller items that I have never managed to expand my capacity. I was just filling up the jar with sand and forgot about pebbles and stones, now there’s no space for them.
I have decided to leave the sand aside and want to empty my jar. More importantly is to start placing the stones into my jar. By doing so, I believe the sand will fall in place in the future and should not rush to put them in.
There are so much possibility in life, why am I limiting myself? (Too narrow/stubborn.)
Take it as it comes with one step at a time . . .

What a day ...
Started my day with water followed by beer.
Ended my day with beer followed by water.
Oh well, what a day. (*No comments*)

Last Lecture is going to end with a bang ! ! !
Just received an email from my professor, she will be conducting a final term test during the last lecture. That day happens to be my last day of lesson for this sem, before the start of reading week and exams.
Best of all, that day falls on my birthday ! ! ! From memory, this is the first time in my life that I have an exam that falls on my hatch day.
It will be a fantastic end to my last year in NUS. Haha...
(The catch is that I don't die from the bang.)

Maybe it wasn’t meant to be…
I have tried to live a life courageously with the spirit of not begrudging myself; to give it a shot despite knowing I am against the odds.
At the very least, I have tried. By not trying, I will never know the outcome.
Thou the end is not known yet, maybe it just wasn’t meant to be. Everything happen for a reason, a reason I will find out by lasting through the winter.
If I have extremely strong desire of achieving it, anything is possible.
Hold on my belief and keep going bah…

I have made the decision.
I have decided to travel with my mum to Osaka in May.
Thou its really expensive, will be spending every penny I have left after my Aussie adventure, but I think that I should accompany her for the trip. Also to visit Kansai, a place I have heard and read so much about, especially my mum kept mentioning abt that place. Visiting Kaikan there, etc...
Guess the next few months, I will be having A&W and grass for breakie, lunch and dinner.
Managed to convince ppl to join this challenge and hopefully able to motivate me. The stakes are high, mezza9 SUNDAY BRUNCH. Whoever score the least number of A(s) will treat...
I want to go mezza9 for free. Chiong ahh...

Winter always turn to Spring...
I am as if I am in winter right now... Pretty much due to my own thoughts that have caused it. Went for district study, it was a pretty good session as I have always like this quote by Daishonin; partly as its Mummy's favourite.
Some slight thoughts. Thou winter will always turn to spring, it is a natural phenomenon and it always give ppl hope. But there is a pre-condition to this saying that is if one can endure and survive the hash winter. So keep finger crossed to get over winter.
Really need to start my engine for the sem, I have not been putting much effort at all. Met shan for Jason Mraz's concert on thurs. Spoke a little abt school when she asked and was reminded abt my target for this sem. Her words: "Friend, last sem u told me u will work harder this sem. Then this sem are u going to say the same?".
Thanks for the reminder, Shan.
Jason's live concert is super goooood....
At first I was still chatting with Kinda and was thinking of giving her the tix as I only know 3 of his song. My rational is that she will appreciate the concert more than me. Anyway, the tix equals to a pair of Adidas running that I'm aiming for. Thou it is super X.... I really think I really enjoyed it, all his songs that I heard from MP3 and youtube is only 50% of what u feel during the live performance. Thanks Shan for helping me to get the tix, also pics are steal from her blog.

Realisation
Today, 3 ppl taught me abt uncertainty.
1) Craig: “Enjoy the uncertainty man!”
2) Dr Heng: “Certainty is generally an illusion.”
3) Gerald: “See, there is nothing certain in this world.” (after Heng’s comment during lecture)
In life, I realize that there are bound to be uncertainty. More impt is "how we reacted to this uncertainty". It has become part of our life and it is unavoidable. So why not take it as it comes and appreciate it. This is also part gaining experience in life.
I believe that I have grown by challenging this weakness of mine head on…
Thanks all buddies and close friends for ur concern… (although some don't know what is happening)
I'm not a LLC boy anymore... :)

The road ahead is long and steep. (hoping its clear)
Being poor, rich, sick or healthy is not a person’s karma. However, not being able to deal with it is a person’s karma. For example, suffering from cancer and thus restrict himself/herself to live to his/her life to the fullest. In turn, they begrudge their lives.
My karma is that I can't deal with uncertainty in my life, not knowing where to go is something i can't live with. Managed draw forth the courage to get it out my chest, now I have to accept the result. I will overcome my weakness and be a stronger person.
I have serious problem with communicating with others. Simple msg said by me becomes a complex situation. Gosh...
I am a person who does not believe in fate. Even my practice teaches me to believe in my own potential, turn poison into medicine. So I’m pretty surprised to hear abt “leaving it to fate”. I believe that by leaving it to fate, that will mean that no action will be carried out.
Without action = Nothing is going to happen.
Therefore, I believe in taking chances and not begrudging myself.
Sorry Crazians for spoiling the mood yesterday.
Beer and run don’t mix well.

Going back to my fundamental darkness...
I am as strong as my weakest link. My weakest link is my fundamental darkness. In order to grow, I have to challenge it head on and only by doing so, I will be able to break through in my life.
With faith as my source of strength to expand my capacity and be a stronger person.
