Sunshine after the Rain. . .: Week 8 in Mel. (6

This week is a more meaningful week for me as I've managed to stretch myself, going against my fundamental darkness.

Sunday, 6th Apr

Went to Commemorative meeting @ Monee Ponds, on our way there, I shared with Teresa that I've not been able to wake up on time for the entire week. She challenged me to meet in school at 8am @ the library, I took it lightly as a joke. Did the same performance as Mar 16th, guess as we did more run through, and I personally feel that the performance is better. Lay Hian, the member who is same age as me but doing his PhD, was the MC together with Trithi. They are simply awesome, a great job.

After the meeting, a gang of us went for lunch and suggested "Laksa King". The place was closed and we had to settle for "Singapore Chom Chom". There's more than 30 of us (I think), so we have to split up in order to accommodate all of us. I had "Steam Chicken Rice", the portion is so little and cost me $8.30. It was a really bad choice. As we are leaving the eatery, one of the member's purse was stolen despite her handbag is just beside her. Aus is as safe as back home, so pls pay to your belongings. Teresa, Wanlian, Mattew, Rohin and myself went for coffee. Thanks to Teresa, we went to "Workshop", its such a nice place; it was a hidden jewel despite walking past so many time, I didn't even notice it. Before we head home, Teresa reminded me abt our challenge to meet @ 8am. Ahh...

Did some reading and wrote the general outline of my report, "Product and Brand Management". I'm required do a brand audit for a brand, anyone able to guess the brand I'm doing? (Those who know, pls keep it to yourself).

Monday, 7th Apr

Struggle to wake up, was in school at 8.20am thou. Went to grab a coffee to keep me awake and head straight to the library. Left a post for a friend (you should have seen it ). Was super tired after lesson, got home and was dead like a log. Took a 2hr nap and continued with my project.

Tues.

Met the gang for our usual lunch session and this time round, the gals that are cooking. They cooked "Green Curry", it wasn't too bad... Oppz, did I say bad? haha... Thanks for their effort, I really enjoyed the lunch.

The night is all about continuing with my report after coming back from discussion meeting.

Wed

Final day before my report is due and I'm still far from completion, at this crucial time, mange to get some directions from my friend in Sydney. And things basically got off really well from that point onwards.

Thurs

I was working on my assignment from 8 till 1415 and missed Database Lecture + tutorial. But I managed to turn up for my practical. I was in the lab early, chatted with a friend (Kun) when my tutor cum TA turn up and said this. "I was very disappointed that you didn't turn up for tuts", I was pretty stunned by her words. I explain to her about my assignment, anyway she is an honour yr student in Uni Melb. I was doing my lab, its a login page. I managed to verify the password and was asking her "what's next"? Her respond : "That's all for this lab" I was like "Huh? That's it?". She: "I know its too easy for you?" I thinking in my heart "Diao", just a curious qns, ended up being suan big time. My peers are laughing at me, James and Kun (Singaporeans who are studying full-time).

Fri

CK and I cooked lunch. Didn't have the pic of our end result as I accidentally deleted the pic from my phone.

CK cook have 'sey' (Style) too.

In the evening, the gang back to school where there's a night market. Its "International Students' Night Market", where delicacies from different countries were sold. It was super packed, and I bought "Goreng Pisang" ($2) and "Pulut Hitam" ($3).

Food here are so expensive.

I managed to meet some other friends at the night market like James, Kun, Sylvia, Shermin, Justine, and lots more...

Sat

This is the most exciting day, Fen, CK and I head to Phillip Island. Its a nice place to visit.

Waited in front of this flower shop for my bus. The tulips just stands out from the rest.

Its so pretty.

First toilet break, imitated Fen and Shu's signature pose.

Next stop is a farm where we had lunch. As all of us wanted to save some $$$, we bought our own. (hehe...) These are some of the pics.

Next stop was the beach, the view is fabulous... And there's a surfing competition for the juniors is on going, 3 of us just sat on the railings and enjoy the fantastic view.

Next we head off to "The Nobbies", the scenary is simply "WOW"...

Spotted my first Penguin in Australia. . .

Last stop, was to see the "Penguin Parade". That's is the main purpose of this trip. But sadly, photography is not allowed as this will scared them. Result of that:

1) They may vomit the food that brought back causing their young not to have any food
2) Scare them that they don't dare to head back to shore.

But I manage to get some ppl to act "stupid" with me. Ha ha...
